What are Some Different Types of Office Chairs?

Task Chairs

The most common and simple type of office chair. They are easily adjustable and typically can roll and swivel. They come with casters and wheels on the chairs. They are usually padded, and are designed to be used all day.

Executive Chairs

These types of chairs are very comfortable and well padded. They are typically made with good quality leather. Executive chairs have a higher backrest than task chairs, and the arm rests are also padded.

Conference Chairs

Typically good quality leather, sometimes with mesh backing. These usually don’t need to be as mobile as a task chair because they will live in meeting rooms, so they are usually not on wheels. Conference room chairs are typically better quality than task chairs because many guests will end up using them. Some companies choose comfortable chairs that also have a pleasing visual appearance for their meeting rooms.
